For students looking at easy, quick ways to serve, this presentation will teach 10-12 simple, but impactful projects. Some engage in craft activities, others involve assembly of items for donation, and many are the type that can be completed in less than five minutes and/or taken home to complete. This last component is great for commuter campuses, non-traditional students, and groups that want to engage the whole family in their activities. These projects eliminate the “I don’t have time to do service” excuse and can provide a way for organizations to meet service goals and requirements with minimal investment and by engaging more members.
