Leadership Solutions:  How do members of clubs and organizations conduct their meetings, activities, events, and fun in a safe manner? It does not take much for things to get out of hand in a hurry, but being proactive up-front can equip them with strategies and approaches that will guide them in any situation!

While being involved in campus groups can be a lot of fun, there are risks associated with being a member, officer, or advisor of a campus organization. Do your members understand their responsibilities to the organization and how things that they do can reflect on the whole group? Are certain behaviors allowed to exist such as hazing, sexual harassment, and insensitivity to cultural differences at your school? Can you count on the members of your organization to make the right choices when they go away to conferences and other events?

While you cannot prevent every bad thing from happening, you can prepare your members to recognize situations that could cause problems and how to deal with them should the worst occur. I will train them to consider the realities, interests, sacrifices, and keepers of risk in your organization and its activities.
