Self-Esteem: A Healthy Relationship with YOU!

Learning Outcomes: Learn how your estimation of yourself affects you; Manage your attitude and expectations

Leadership Solutions: This presentation will give students who may be struggling with esteem issues, finding their place on campus, or lacking in confidence tools they can use to create a healthy relationship with themselves and others.

We all have many relationships: work, school, family, romantic, friends, social media, and more,  Which is the most important?  The one you have with YOU!

Self-esteem is more than having warm, fuzzy feelings about yourself.  It is a process that helps move you forward towards your goals and dreams, satisfaction with your life, and knowing who you are.  This session will help students to assess their level of self-esteem, learn signs of low esteem, build confidence, and discover keys to productive journaling.  Participants will be able to identify the healthy parts of their relationships with themselves and the ones that they need to work on.

It is highly interactive and great for New Student Orientation, Emerging Leaders programs, Student Leadership Experience, and other events on your campus.

“I wanted to thank you for taking the time to come and speak to the Emerging Leaders.  They absolutely adored you and I hope you had as good of a time as we did. The students could not stop talking about how fun and interactive the event was! Thank you again for your continued support. I will connect with you again next year to set up a new date for our new group of freshmen!”  Karissa L. Merkel, M.S. Ed, Asst. Director of Student Leadership and Engagement, Georgian Court University
