Learning Outcomes: New student leadership board members will learn how to run meetings effectively utilizing Parliamentary Procedure, their roles and responsibilities in their position, keys to advocating for students on your campus, and how to create a vision with goals to support it’s realization.

One of the best things in student leadership is to run for a position and get elected! But, then, the real work begins. YIKES! Some students have it all figured out, others have no idea what they are getting into, and still others are in-between those extremes.
Your student governance leaders and members will learn how to run and participate in meetings effectively utilizing Parliamentary Procedure, their roles and responsibilities in their position, keys to advocating for students on your campus, and more.
There are four packages, you pick the topics from the list below:
- $4,200 CAD + lodging = two topics plus 30 minutes of interactives for 2.5 hours total
- $4,750 CAD + lodging = four topics plus 30 minutes of interactives for 4.5 hours total
- $5,250 CAD + lodging = six topics plus 30 minutes of interactives for 6.5 hours total
- $7,975 CAD + lodging = two days, twelve hours total of topics and interactives
All rates are inclusive of travel, excluding lodging (lodging buy-out is $350 CAD per night)

The Student Governance Quick Start is available either as a virtual presentation, in-person, or blended. Virtual programs can be done all in one day, spread out over a couple of days, or even over a few weeks. In-person can be done in one or two days. Blended? Sure, some schools have me do the Creating a Vision program virtually before I come to campus and then we discuss their goals during the in-person training. Note: All of these programs are interactive, regardless of format!
